We have a photographic archive of the many listed buildings and we
monitor the maintenance of their special character.
We support various objectives such as the restoration of the Madeira Lift and Terrace. |

by planting flowers under the annual Brighton in Bloom scheme.

We have played a key part
in schemes to improve the look of St James's Street, and have been very
active in initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety, comfort and peace
of its residential neighbourhoods. We have continually advocated
policies respecting the essential characteristics of this stretch of
seafront.
