The Kingscliffe Society plays an active role in preserving the beauty of our part of Brighton. We have developed a photographic archive of all the area's fine listed buildings and we keep a close eye on them to make sure that their special character and features are preserved.
We support many objectives, such as the effort to restore to its former glory the splendid Victorian Madeira Lift on Kemp Town seafront.

We also encourage local people and business to make the area attractive by planting flowers under the annual Brighton in Bloom scheme.                                                                           Marine Square

 

We are playing a lead part in a scheme to improve the look of St  James's Street - upgrading shops, planting trees and making the thoroughfare more pedestrian-friendly.
